Tips on House Training a Dog
One of the most important areas of training a dog is house training. However, this can be a very frustrating task. One of the best ways to succeed is use the dogs own instincts. By nature, dogs are usually very clean animals. They prefer to keep the areas where they eat and sleep clean and free from soil. Dogs also like a routine and like to know where they are supposed to urinate and defecate. For instance, if they are taught to do their business on gravel or concrete, they will look for gravel or concrete to do this. If they are taught to go on grass or dirt, they will look for grass or dirt. Take advantage of these habits.
First, you must set up a training area. You will need a place that is small and confined, like a bathroom or kitchen. A crate will work for small dogs or puppies but larger animals need more room. You need to spend some time with your pet in this area playing with him. Your pet will also eat and sleep in this area as well.
You should put together a special bed for your dog or purchase one. Don’t fret if your pet soils in this area at first. He will soon learn that this is where he eats and sleeps and stop eliminating there. Once the dog figures out the bed is for sleeping, you can move it to different locations in the house. Make sure you do this only when you are home. If you are not there, move the bed back to the training area.
Next, you will need to set up a bathroom area. Find a location for this purpose, probably outside. But, it needs a to be a place the dog can go whenever he needs to go. You should go with your dog to give rewards for good behavior. Feed the dog at the same time everyday. If your dog is fed at the same time everyday and establishes a schedule for eating he will also establish a routine for eliminating. Once you get a feel for those times, it will be easier to guide your dog to the designated location. Your dog should have easy access to the bathroom area; that way accidents are less likely.
Now, you can continue the house training. When your pet is in the habit of urinating or defecating in the toilet area and not in his eating or sleeping area, you may extend the training area to include the rest of the house. Don’t start to fast. Go slowly at first. Add one room at a time. Don’t go into new rooms until you are sure your pet has good control of his bathroom habits. Do this only when you are present with the dog. If you are not home, keep your dog in the original training area. You can speed the process up, but do so with caution. It is advisable to go slowly rather than have to retrain your pet at a later time. If you do choose to speed things up, make sure you are there to reward your dog. Remember, it is important not to punish for accidents. This will only slow the process down by confusing the dog.

How to Teach a Dog Tricks in 2 Weeks
Training your dog to obey is important and when you can teach him a few tricks, it can be a lot of fun to spend time showing off to family and friends. Many different dog breeds are fairly easy to train when it comes to teaching them new tricks. With a few good tools you can teach your dog tricks in just a couple of weeks. Here are a few tips and ideas you can use to help you dog learn faster.
Use a Collar
First, if you want to teach your dog tricks fast, start out by using a good collar on him. The collar can allow you to easily control the dog and it also allows you to use a leash on your dog as well. Using a six foot leash with the collar can allow you to easily control him, keep him from wandering off, and can also allow him some freedom during the training too.
Teach Basic Commands First
Before you even try to start teaching your dog any tricks, you need to each him some basic commands fast. Many of the best tricks are going to use basic commands as well, so you need to teach him the basics. Start by teaching him to sit on command. Other good basics to start out with include commands like come, stay, and lie down. Once he knows the basics, teaching him tricks will be much easier.
Start Out Easy
Don’t start with the tough tricks when you’re trying to teach your dog tricks in just a couple of weeks. Go with something very simple to start out with. One good trick to start out with is shaking hands. Starting with the easy tricks allows the dog to build up some confidence. It will also help you to build up the training until you are able to teach tricks that are more difficult.
Keep Training Sessions Short
You may be tempted to jam as much training into each day as possible so you can help you dog learn more tricks in a short period of time. This is not going to work. You will find that your dog performs better if you keep the training sessions short. Usually the sessions should be about 15 minutes at a time. However, since the sessions are short, you can try doing a couple different sessions each day.
Use Positive Reinforcement
It’s definitely a good idea to use positive reinforcement if you’re trying to get your dog to learn tricks fast. Whenever he does well during training, praise him. Lavish your dog with attention. It’s also a good idea to reward your dog with some treats so he starts corresponding doing well with rewards and positive praise and attention.
Vary Your Sessions
In order to make sure your dog learns as many tricks as possible, vary the sessions from time to time. This not only will allow you to teach him even more tricks, it also helps to avoid boredom. Don’t make everything about learning new tricks either. Take time out to simply play with your dog so you don’t overload him with new things.
Hunting Dog Training – Summer Pigeon Work
If you are a job seeker, wage affects you most when taking a job. But sometimes, this priority brings you an unsatisfying job. So this is the time for you to list all your demands including income and the joy of work. You can work with a small pay cut in a flexible schedule. That’s the way many people do to balance their desire and reality.
If you are looking for jobs that have built in flexibility, there are quite a few options. Sometimes delivery jobs allow you flexibility as long as your deliveries are made by the end of the day. You can choose where to eat and who to chat with along your route, and as long as your packages are delivered, everything is fine. Another job that provides flexibility is Nashua property management or Manchester property management. If you are managing several buildings or locations, you will be on the road and in charge of your own time. As long as things continue to run smoothly, your employer will be happy regardless of your schedule.
Another option for flexibility is to speak with a potential or current employer about building flexible time into your schedule. Some companies call this flex time and they are happy to do it because it saves them money. You may still be paid for a full-week of work, but you are in the office less. This may mean working from home or working longer days and having a day off each week. Many offices find they run more efficiently by doing this. They can offer employees the chance to spend more time with their families, and when employees are happier and their quality of life increases, their work quality does so as well. If both the employer and employee can be happy with their situation, it makes for the best productivity for a company.
A final option for finding flexible work is to work the flexibility into your offer before accepting the job. When bargaining with a company for a better package, they may be reluctant to pay you what you are asking, especially during a tough economy. You can push for other perks though and a flexible schedule should be one of them. Flexibility does not cost a company any money, so if you would prefer to work four 10 hour days, there is no reason they should object to that if they want you on their team. You may also be able to ask them for the option of working from home a few times per week.
On the Leash Dog Training
The two most important questions you need to ask yourself are:
1. Does your dog drag you and go wherever he wants?
2. Is your dog disobedient and you can’t handle him?
If your answer is yes to those two questions, you need help to overcome those problems with the correct teaching in the basic behavioural dog training techniques.
Handling tips… Training must not develop into a tug of war with your dog but your dog’s attention must be focussed on you. Always correct your dog while moving, forcing him to follow you. Do not correct the dog while standing still. Your dog must be able to walk beside you keeping pace with you and follow in the direction you would like to go. Dogs are very intelligent and will often take chances, and believe me, they know exactly with whom in the family they can do that. Be firm with your commands and take the lead. Remember that you are the leader and the dog the follower.
Very important… There is only one way to correctly put the chain over the dog’s head. Test the chain by putting it around your right arm to ensure that it opens and closes. Without taking the chain off your right arm, slip the chain around the dog’s head while standing in front of the dog. The chain must be able to open and close easily before you start the exercises.
With all respect… in a way, dogs are like children. The more attention and love they get, the better they will perform. However, there is a very thin line between love and spoiling. Beware of spoiling a dog too much. At the end you must be able to handle and control your dog. You and your dog must enjoy the sessions. and you will experience the therapeutic value of the exercises.
